Fachpack 2022: LEONHARD KURZ and SCRIBOS present the Digital Product Passport
Sustainable, environmentally conscious approaches and ecological responsibility are becoming increasingly important. In order to push forward these issues, the European Union will require manufacturers to provide their products with a sustainability certificate from 2024. Manufacturers and brand owners can already prepare for this change now – with the Digital Product Passport from LEONHARD KURZ and its two subsidiaries SCRIBOS and KURZ Digital Solutions.
KURZ and SCRIBOS will present the new solution at Fachpack 2022, which will take place from September 27 to 29 in Nuremberg, where visitors can see the wide ranging features of the Product Passport for themselves. On the one hand, it includes all the content required by the directive – from environmentally relevant indicators such as CO2 footprint, raw materials or recyclability to details on production conditions and information on repair options. Additional content can also be implemented by individual agreement to provide added value for brand owners and consumers, including counterfeit-protected security features or customer service content such as warranty provisions and product instructions.
KURZ and SCRIBOS will also be presenting other highlights at the trade fair at Stand 7A-329 in Hall 7A, such as ValiGate® from SCRIBOS, the innovative security solution for reliable counterfeit protection that gives products a unique, copy-protected identity.
